Llanos

la'noz, a Spanish name given, especially in Venezuela and Colombia, to the vast grassy plains of the Orinoco. They cover an estimated area of 150,000 square miles. The soil varies from sand to rich loam. Immense tracts supply rich pasturage for herds of cattle. The ranchers are of Spanish descent.
