Van Dyke, Henry

Henry (1852-), an American clergyman and author. He was born at Germantown. He was graduated from Princeton in 1873 and from the University of Berlin in 1878. He is known favorably as a preacher and lecturer, and has written a number of volumes on a variety of subjects. Among them are The Poetry of Tennyson, Little Rivers, The Builders and Other Poems, Ships and Havens, and Fisherman's Luck.
