It was believed by Paracelsus that this sign had a marvellous magical power over spirits; and that all magic figures and kabalistic signs could be reduced to two-The Microcosm, and the Macrocosm ( q.v.).
Microprosopus, The: One of the four magical elements in the Kabala; and probably representing one of the four simple elements-air, water, earth, or fire. The word . The word means "creator of the little world ."
