It is on the Chehalis river Milwaukee and St. Paul, and the Oregon and Washington Railway and Navigation Co., and is connected by steamship with center of an important lumber and agriports in California. The city is the cultural region. The chief industries are packing houses. Pop. (1910) 13,660; ports in California. The city is the (192 (1920) 15,337.
