Aerograph
a device for the making of aerial surveys from the ground. It consists of a captive balloon carrying a gyroscopically balanced camera, all operations of balloon and camera being controlled from convenient ground stations through electrical connections. By means of the aerograph, surveys and maps of otherwise inaccessible places may readily be made at comparatively small cost and without the former dangers of aerial photography.
