She has been a prolific writer of books for the young that have met with popular favor, and has also published some volumes of verse. Among her works are "Leaves of Life" (1888); "The Marden Mystery" (1896); "The Story of the Treasure Seekers" (1899); "The Red House" (1903); "Man and Mail" (1906); "Salome and the Head" (1909); and "Wings and the Child" (1913).
