Broughton
RHODA, an English novelist, born in Segrwyd Hall, Denbighshire, Wales, Nov. 29, 1840. She was the daughter of a clergyman, and resided at Broughton Hall, Cheshire. Her novels are very popular, and include "Cometh Up as a Flower" (1867); "Not Wisely but Too Well" (1867); "Red as a Rose Is She" (1870); "Good-bye, Sweetheart" (1872); "Nancy" (1873); "Belinda" BROUSSA BROUSSA or "Between Two (1883); "Doctor Cupid" (1886); "Alas" BRUSA, (1890); "A Beginner" (1894); "Scylla and Charybdis" (1895); "Be (brö'sa) Stools" (1912), etc. She died in 1920.
