Christensen
PARLEY PARKER, an American politician; born in Weston, Ida., July 19, 1869. He was educated in the public schools of Utah and was graduated from the State university in 1891. He took a further course at Cornell University, receiving from that institution the degree of LL. B. in 1897. In September of that year he was admitted to the bar of Utah and in 1905 to the United States Supreme Court. In 1895 he was the district attorney of Salt Lake co., Utah. He was a member of the House in the Utah State Legislature in 1915. He was nominated for president of the United States by the FARMER-LABOR PARTY (q. v.), July 15, 1920.
