CLARENCE DON, a United States Senator from Wyoming, born in Oswego co., N. Y., in 1851. He graduated from Iowa State University, and after admission to the bar, practiced in Wyoming. He was chosen to the 51st and 52d Congresses, and in 1895 became United States Senator to fill a vacancy caused by the failure of the Legislature to elect. He was re-elected in 1898, in 1904, and in 1910, serving until 1917. an
