MARC PIERRE, Militaire. He was an illustrious patron COMTE (där-zhon-son'), French of literature. In 1757 he was banished statesman; born in 1696; the younger to his estate by the machinations of son of the Marquis d'Argenson (1652- Madame Pompadour; but on her death 1721), who created the secret police and he returned to Paris, where he died in established the lettres de cachet.
