Del Rio
a city of Texas, the countyseat of Val Verde co. It is on the Galof Val Verde co. It is on the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio railroad . Its notable buildings include a hospital, two convents, and a Federal building building. It contains the well-known San Felipe springs. It has cotton gins and other industrial establishments and is the center of an agricultural and cattle raising region. It was incorporated in 1910. Pop. (1920) 10,589.
