Delirium
increased ideation ranging from simple confusion of thought to fixed delusion, accompanied by incoherence, restlessness, and frequently combined with some amount of unconsciousness, deepening at times into coma. often occurs in the course of general specific diseases, in pneumonia, erysipelas, gout, acute mania, alcoholic poisoning as delirium tremens, and as a consequence of nervous exhaustion from mental overwork.
