Glaucodote
an orthorhombic, greenish, tin-white mineral of metallic luster and white streak. It occurs in chlorite slate in the province of Huasco in Chile, also in Sweden.
GLAUCOMA (glâkō-ma), an opacity of the vitreous humor of the eye, characterized by a bluish tint seen from with out, and the absence of the peculiar characters of the cataract, which, in some respects, it resembles.
