Honeysuckle
in botany, the genus Lonicera. The common honeysuckle is L. periclymenum; the stem is 10 or 20 feet high, climbing; the corolla one to one and a half inches long, dirty-red outside, and yellow within. It is found in Europe and North Africa. A cultivated variety is common in gardens. It is called also woodbine and by Milton twisted eglantine.
