Huntington (ARCHER MILTON an American)
ARCHER MILTON, an American writer, born in New York City in 1870. He was educated privately in New York and Spain. He was a son of Collis P. Huntington, and devoted a part of his great wealth to the foundation of the Hispanic Society of America to which he gave a magnificent building. He was a member of many foreign and American societies. He edited "The Poem of the Cid" (3 vols., 1897) and various other works. He contributed to magazines on Spanish- American subjects.
