Huxley (LEONARD a British author He)

LEONARD, a British author. He was born in 1860, and was educated at University College School, St. Andrew's University, and Balliol College, Oxford. He was assistant to Professor Lewis Campbell, professor of Greek at St. Andrew's, w's, in 1883. Later he became assistant master, Charterhouse, Godalming, and reader to Smith, Elder & Co. His works include: "Life of Huxley"; "Life of Sir Joseph Hooker"; "Letters of a Betrothed"; "Thoughts on Education."
