Jamuna
the name of several rivers of Northern India, the chief being the lower section of the Brahmaputra, and that which connects it directly with the Ganges.

JAMESTOWN, a district of James City co., Va., the first permanent English settlement within the limits of the United States; founded in 1607 on a peninsula 32 miles from the mouth of James river.
