Laibach

a city of Jugo-Slavia, located about 45 miles from Trieste.

Among its most notable monuments is one to Marshal Radetsky, and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Laibach is an important historical city because of the meeting of the sovereigns of Europe there in 1821 and their decision to repress rebellion in Italy. Pop. about 50,000.
