Lee (ALGERNON an American)

ALGERNON, an American journalist, born in Dubuque, Ia., in 1873. He was educated at the University of Minnesota. He became identified with the Socialist movement in 1895, and edited Socialist papers from 1898 to 1909. 1898 1909.

From the latter year he was educational director of the Rand School of Social Science, in New York. He was a delegate to many Socialist conventions and conferences.
