Lower Austria

formerly a crownland of Austria, in the eastern part of the Archduchy of Austria, and now part LOWER CALIFORNIA LOYOLA of the Austrian Republic. The capital 1885. Appointed 4th Charity Commiscity is Vienna itself. The region, which sioner in 1887. Under-Secretary for is both industrial and agricultural, has an area of 7,654 square miles, a mixed population, of which Germans predominate, numbering about 3,600,000 before the war.
