Mcgiffert
ARTHUR CUSHMAN, an American theologian; born in Sauquoit, N. Y., March 4, 1861; was graduated at Western Reserve College in 1882 and at the Union Theological Seminary in 1885; studied abroad till 1888; was instructor in Church history at Lane Theological Seminary in 1888-1890; professor of that branch in 1890-1893; then accepted the chair of Church history at contained 206,000 volumes.
