Morgantown

a city of West Virco. It is about 100 miles S. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and is situated on the Monongahela river and on the Baltimore and Ohio, and Kingwood railroads. It contains the West Virginia University and several important public buildings. Its chief industries are glass factories, lumbering, flour milling, and mining. Pop. (1910) 9,150; (1920) 12,127.
