Morris (SIR EDWARD PATRICK)

SIR EDWARD PATRICK, Newfoundland statesman; born at St.

John's in 1859, he studied at Ottawa University, and after being called to the bar was elected in 1885 to the legislature.

From 1890 to 1895 he was Attorney-General and in the following years led in the campaign of the reorganization of the railroads.
