O'Neil (JAMES an American actor born)

JAMES, an American actor, born in Ireland in 1847. He made his first appearance on the American stage in Cincinnati in 1867, after which he appeared as leading man and as star in many theaters in the United States. For fifteen years he was star in "Monte Cristo," and afterwards played the star part in "The Three Musketeers" for many years. He died in 1920.
