Rosenthal

MORITZ, a pianist; born in Lemberg, Austria-Hungary, Dec. 18, 1862. In 1876 he gave his first concert, which led to fame; in 1878 was pianist to the Rumanian Court; in 1878- 1895 played in the principal cities of Europe; and in 1895 made his first appearance in London, where he was enthusiastically received. This was followed by many tours in Europe and the United States.
