BERTRAND ARTHUR WILLIAM, a British author. He was born at Trelleck in 1872 and was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. Later he became Lecturer and Fellow of the same college. He has written and traveled much, and articles written by him on Sovietism after a visit to Russia in 1920 attracted attention. His works include: "German Social Democracy," "Essay on the Foundations of Geometry," "Philosophy of Leibnitz," "Principles of Mathematics," "Philosophical Essays," "Problems of Philosophy," "Principia Mathematica," "Principles of Social Reconstruction," "Mysticism and Logic," "Roads to Freedom."
