Santa Clara (Inland city of Cuba)

an inland city of Cuba, in the province of the same name, situated on the main line of the Cuban in Cuba, with a population of (1919) about 1542, the town was a populous 63,151. It is of considerable importance pueblo. Pop. (1910) 5,072; (1920) as a shipping point of the sugar and 7,236. tobacco raised in that part of the island.
