FREDERICK MADISON, president of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, born SMITH at Plano, Ill., in 1874. He was educated at the University of Iowa, Graceland College, University of Missouri, and Uni- College, University of Missouri, and University of Kansas, and holds the degree of Ph.D. from Clark University.
