EDWARD IRENÆUS (PRIME), an American author and editor, born in 1868. He was admitted to the bar, but never practiced, and was a member of the literary staff of "The Independent," "Harper's Weekly," and other magazines. He became specially well known as a musical, dramatic, and musical, literary critic, and traveled and lectured extensively.
