Sullivan (MARK an American editor)
MARK, an American editor and writer; born at Avondale, Pa., in 1874. He was educated at the Normal School, West Chester, Pa., and at Harvard University. From 1893 to 1900 he was part owner of the "Daily Republican," Phoenixville, Pa.; from 1903 to 1904 writer on the Boston "Transcript"; from 1904 to 1906 a member of the New York City bar, and from 1906 to 1917 a member of the editorial staff of "Collier's Weekly," serving as editor from 1912 to 1917. After this he became Washington correspondent of the New York "Evening Post."
