Thayer (CHARLES SNOW American)
CHARLES SNOW, American librarian; born at Westfield, Mass., in 1865. He was educated at Amherst, Yale, and Göttingen, leaving the latter university in 1901. In 1886-92 he was a bank clerk at Minneapolis, and became assistant pastor of the Union Congregational Church at Providence, R.
I., in 1900. Since August, 1902, he has been librarian of the Case Memorial Library and associate professor of bibliology at the Hartford Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the Congregational ministry in 1902 and is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis.
