Thompson (HELEN BISHOP an American)

HELEN BISHOP, an American educator; born in Chillicothe, Ohio. From 1903 till 1907 she was an assistant instructor at the Kansas State Agricultural College, then became professor of household economics at Lincoln College, in Lincoln, Ill. (1909-12). Was professor of home economics at New Hampshire College (1913-15), then professor of dietetics (1915-18) at the Connecticut College for Women, at New London. In 1918 she became dean of the division of home economics and profes- THOMPSON THOMPSON sor of nutrition and dietetics at the Kan- Penalty" (1862); "Kingdom of God" sas State Agricultural College.
