Tikoor

or TIKUL, in botany, the Garcinia pedunculata, a tall tree, a nain India. The fruit is large, round, tive of Rungpur, Goalpara and Sylhet smooth and, when ripe, yellow. The taste, and is used by the natives for fleshy part is of a very sharp, rp, pleasant curries, and for acidulating water; if and might be used in lieu of limes, on cut into slices it will keep for years, board ship on long voyages.
