Warner (ANNA BARTLETT pen name AMY)

ANNA BARTLETT, pen name AMY LOTHROP, an American author; born in New York, in 1820. In conjunction with her sister, Susan Warner, she published the novels "Say and Seal" (1860); "Wych Hazel" (1876); and "The Gold of Chickaree" (1876). Among her WARNER separate works, published under her pen name, are: "Dollars and Cents" (1853); "My Brother's Keeper" (1855); "Stories of Vinegar Hill" (1871); "The Fourth Watch"; "The Blue Flag," etc. (1879); "The Other Shore"; "Three Little Spades," a child's book; "Gardening by Myself"; "Up and Down the House"; "Pond Lily Stories"; "Miss Muff"; etc.

She died in 1915.
