Alkaline Syrup Rhubarb

Take of alkaline fluid extract of rhubarb, 6 fluid ounces (see No. 4591); oil of cinnamon, 3 minims; sugar, 36 troy ounces. Mix the oil of cinnamon with the fluid extract; then add sufficient water to make the whole mixture weigh 20 troy ounces; in this dissolve the sugar, with the aid of heat, and strain.
