Take 8 grains pill machine is usually employed for dividing nux-vomica, 12 grains extract of henbane, the roll and shaping the pills. In ordinary and 48 grains compound extract of colocynth . cases, rolling the pills in carbonate of magnesia or powdered starch is usually adopted, to prevent them sticking together while moist.
