Cure for the Earache
Take a drops aromatic sulphuric acid; ounce comsmail piece of cotton batting or cotton wool, pound tincture of gentian; 2 drachms commake a depression in the centre with the fin- pound tincture of cardamoms; 1½ ounces ginger, and fill it up with as much ground pepper ger syrup; and 2 ounces water. A tableas will rest on a five-cent piece; gather it into spoonful administered 3 times a day will a ball and tie it up; dip the ball into sweet remove the prostrating effects of drinking to oil and insert it in the ear, covering the latter excess. with cotton wool, and use a bandage or cap to retain it in its place. Almost instant relief will be experienced, and the application is so gentle that an infant will not be injured by it, but experience relief, as well as adults. 1 part laudanum and 6 parts sweet oil dropped in the ear is also very effectual.
