together rectified spirit, 8 ounces; oil of ju- each 1 pound, in coarse powder; in rectified (in a close vessel); filter and each 1 ounce; agitate well and filter. Stim- distill off the spirit until the residuum has a ulant and diuretic; also used for sprains and bruises.
