Better known, perhaps, under the French name Gelée pour le Goitre. Dissolve 1 ounce white soap in 2½ ounces of proof spirit by a gentle heat; and puration after 17 or more days by the use of add to it, while still warm, a warm solution of this plaster. It has also been successfully 5 drachms iodide of potassium in 24 ounces applied to fractures and tumors. Take 15 proof spirit.
