Boil in wa-lution of the wax in turpentine, and apply it ter, 8 parts nut-galls, 5 parts sulphate of iron, with a brush. It is generally prepared on a 4 parts cach sal ammoniac and sulphate of indigo, and 1/80 part gum-arabic. Wash the paper in this decoction, and then expose it to ammonia.
