M'Kenzie's Ointment
Powdered sulphate of zinc, 4 ounces; liquid storax, 1 ounce; melted lard, 16 ounces. Mix by means of heat and triturate over a water-bath for about an hour. A useful application for tetter and scald-head. Apply night and morning, first washing the part with Castile soap and warm water.
