ounce sweet spirits of nitre, 2 drachms pow- Ipecacuanha, 30 grains; pordered squilis dered acacia, 1 drachm sugar, 4 fluid ounces distilled water, 2 fluid drachms compound dose is 1 drachm, which_may be increased, if spirit of lavender, and 1 fluid drachm tincture necessary, to an ounce. It is recommended as of opium. Dose, a table-spoonful 3 times a a valuable remedy in most forms of constipaday. A specific remedy for gonorrhca. tion, taken soon after meals.
