Nervous Pill

Assafetida, extract of hops, carbonate of ammonia, of each 1 ounce; extract of valerian, 20 grains. Dissolve the first two ingredients over the fire, glass of sugar water every 2 hours. This then take off, and add the others; mix well, medicine has a tendency to affect the head and with a few drops of the oil of lavender, and a little powdered liquorice, form into pills. Dose, 1 or 2 once or twice a day.

Valuable in all nervous and hysterical disorders. and vision, and produce physical prostration.

When these symptoms become developed, cease the doses, and the effects will pass off, leaving the patient completely restored.
