Powdered Tin
Take Cornish grain tin; melt it, and pour it into a wooden gentle heat, cool, edulcorate with water, disbox, well rubbed on the inside with whiting or chalk; close the cover, and continue shak- nitric acid, precipitate with carbonate of poting it violently until the tin is reduced to powder; then wash it in clean water, and dry it immediately.
