Silver Rain
Mealed powder, 2 ounces; saltpetre, 4 ounces; sulphur, 1 ounce; steel dust, & ounce. 2064. Colored Stars may be made by using any of the receipts for colored fires, with a solution of isinglass, 1/2 ounce; camphor, ounce; and alcohol, ounce. Make into cylindrical cakes of the requisite size, punch a hole in the centre of each, roll in gunpowder, and dry in the sun.
