Sulphuretted Lotion

Dissolve sulphuret of potassium, 1 drachm avoirdupois, in distilled water, 1 pint Imperial. Used to render the skin soft, white, and smooth, particularly when there is a tendency to slight eruptions of a pustular or vesicular character.

The addition of 1/2 to 1 ounce of glycerine improves it for present use.
