To Apply Harness Blacking
Spread a very little of the blacking evenly on the surface of the leather, and polish by genpolish by gentle friction with a brush or an old handkerold handkerchief. Paste blacking is thinned with water. oil, 1 pound; oil of vitriol, pound; sufficient water; finish as in No. 3088.
