Take the rind of 2 lemons, juice of 3 large lemons, 1/2 pound loaf sugar, 1 quart boiling water. Rub some of the sugar, in lumps, on two of the lemons until they have imbibed all sired, 1 ounce carbonate of soda must be added to the above.
