Take of good quicklime 1/2 a bushel, slack in the usual manner and add 1 pound common salt, 1/2 pound sulphate of zinc (white vitriol), failed to stick. When you wish to re-paper the wall, with the brush wet the paper with clear water, and it will come off readily. (Sce No. 2811.)
