Melt together 2 parts brass, 1 part copper, with a little old brass, and 4 ounce tin to every pound of copper. This alloy is almost of the color, etc., of gold coin. 3434. Copper Alloys for Dentists' Moulds. A very hard and most valuable alloy for general use may be had by a mixture of tin, 12 parts; antimony, 2 parts; copper, 1 part.
